CITY STORM:
A mini-LP focusing on storm recordings captured in urban environments. Each piece presents a new perspective of the storm while playing off the preceding track. Instead of trying to remove and work around all of the noise and ambiance a city provides, this influence becomes a central component in these soundscapes. There is a very nocturnal vibe to the LP as a whole, yet with a few obvious bright spots providing contrast (such as the extended recording of church bells). And while the "storm" can be enjoyed as a single weather pattern and listening experience, there is a wide variety of inclement weather on display (including sudden downpours of rain and rolling thunder). Headphones or nice HIFI recommended to properly enjoy these HD sounds as they were recorded and maintained.
